I got an offer from my dad and he wants me to join the family business. I will be a plant foreman and operator of a concrete crushing plant. I will also be operating heavy machinery. Scary, huh? I will be out of the loop for the next 2 weeks while I am being trained in Victoria, TX. I will also be living in a hotel room so I don't know if I will be able to get online.

It's a great offer that I can not pass up. I will be making double what I am making now and I will also get my health insurance paid by the company. But the best part is I will be getting the ONLY company truck, a 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 crew cab. It's a nice truck to say the least.

Once I get trained and take over full operations of MY plant, I will be able to get a vechicle allowance to pay for anything I want. The person that is the primary owner of the company owns a dealership as well. So they will buy any vehicle I want from auction and finance it to me at the auction price. I am thiking about a GMC C4500, 4x4, desiel of course. I think that would make a nice tow rig for me.

Well I start Tomorrow but I will not leave until the company truck is ready, the guy before me blew the motor but it should be out of the shop tomorrow or the next day.

Well wish me luck as I have not been around that line of work since I was 15 or so....

That sounds great bro. I am happy for you! Good luck at the new job.

well thats cool, will have to come c u in victoria since its close to me....

No Rich... you just want to bribe me into building that garage for you

lol

Well, the first half a week was not bad. Basicly my training was "get on the machine and play around." Thats what the guy training me said. I got to "play" with a New Holland 170 (I think) front end loader and a breaker, track hoe woth a jack hammer attached. I also got the basics of the crucher and the sifter. I still need to learn how to work the computer on the crusher.

Oh and I also got my work truck. It a red 2006 Dodge 2500 4x4 w/ tow package, crew cab, long bed, D60 front and rear (think they will notice if I swap with my XJ?), Cummings Turbo I6. I cant wait to see what it can do but the motor is in it's break in stage. Brand new motor with less than 50 miles on it (45 mile of that was me). The rest of the truck has 175,XXX miles.

what ever... like you never make typos.
