My Tranfer Case is shot i guess i got stuck in a mudhole for 4 hours today... thought fourwheel drive was working and well crap it didn't transfer case i guess is gone anyone know average price on reparing or replacing one? thx

Your previous posts discuss your vacuum disco on the front axle, and having manually engaged it. My first suspicion is that the front disco isn't engaged correctly . . . but, if you are sure that it is locked correctly, my next thought is that the tcase linkage is not set properly. This would mean that even though the shifter shows 4HI or 4LO, you are still in 2WD. Before you start worrying about the cost of replacing the tcase, I'd check the linkage for the tcase shifter. Here is a drawing that may help:

Yesterday we lifted up the front and manually locked the vacuum and rotated the front wheels everything up to the front driveshaft turned my transfer case isn't turning it obviously lol thx i'll check that out.
