We nailed it China is pissed....

They're just pissed because they couldn't blow up their sat that was WAAAAY up there (about 500 miles) which would have resulted in large debris being left in a main satellite orbit.

I’m thinking the U.S. already has satellites that can do the same up there, we’re just smarter about it, and we’re not letting other countries know that yet. Remember the whole star wars program from the 80s with Regan. If we have stuff that can shoot down war heads moving in all kinds of different directions I’m pretty sure we can hit an fixed orbit satellite you know. If this was a game of poker were sitting just fine with aces and china flopped on a poor bluff.

WUH? What you talking about Willis?

China can't talk, they did it Jan 19th 2007 (WE protested that one).

Russia seemed more upset as it seemed a retro "Starwars" epesode from the Regan days.

All this bravado over a blowing up of our own crap.
My question is one of effectiveness. Does Hydrazine explode in a vacuum? If it doesn't we just threw a bunch of it around in vapor form into the upper atmoshere.

If I am not mistaking...I thought I heard them say that there are enough other catalysts in Hydrazine that does allow it to explode without oxygen...never got that deep into chemistry and physics :attom: ....steered out of the engineering track so I'm not 100% sure on that. It's just what I remember hearing...:dunno:
