Watch this.

Nothing new to most "right" thinking people, but it should be seen by all students, and their teachers/professors should be required to discuss it, at least once per quarter/semester.

And registered democrats should have to memorize it and recite it upon demand of any "right" thinking person!

And any person who starts spouting off about democracy should have to memorize it and recite it upon demand of any "right" thinking person!
fixed it for you.

Interesting stuff- we were taught that we live in a representative democracy, which is not an oligarchy, because it's a lot larger ruling class (?!?!). They call it democracy, because what the majority of them want, the rest of us get- good and hard. Ugh.

Cute.

We ceased being a republic once the Founding Fathers started political parties. We have been ruled by a "tryanny of the elite" since before the robber barons of the railroads seized farms and range lands through 'emminent domain'. Continuing today with (ok a couple of decades ago) with the building of the interstate system. Most of my 'right wing' friends are farmers, receiving (gasp) government water subsidies, according to the video an action that led to the Roman Empire becoming an Oligory (sic?).

This short video, explains why Gay Marriage will be allowed in this country, the rule of law. 52% of Californians voted for State Proposition 8 to define marriage as between one man and one woman. With the passage, this law was immediately contested has been bantered back and forth in the courts. It doesn't matter if the majority voted to have gays not to marry in California (democracy).

So to draw a conclusion, if you want this country to remain a republic, a system with government that protects freedoms...you'll support gay marriage. Maybe even the building of a mosque in New York City.

Everyone take a deep breath and look in the mirror. Ask that guy looking back at you what do you truly want? To quote that noted philosopher Mick Jagger, You can't always get what you want, but if you try real hard you just might find, you get what you need.

:shhh:
