Wanted: mini shocks.

I've got the equivalent of what I can figure is 2 inches of lift on my XJ... I was going to replace the shocks, but I don't have any laying around that are short enough.

Right now, I'm running the stockers, but I've only got like 1-2 inches of droop with them... plus they are completely shot, might the originals from 210K miles ago.

Anyone got any laying around that are 18-18 1/2 inch at ride height? I'm not picky, just cheap.

I have some stockers from the country package(supposedly 1" higher than others so possibly longer shock?) I can measure for you...yours for free if they'll work, I'll get back to you tomorrow.

There is some shock extenders you can buy at AutoZ for a couple of bucks. I used them for a while on a 3" lift untill i saved for the shocks!

That'd work... if mine weren't totally shot.

If I didn't use the XJ so much for hauling stuff... (today, two YJ grills, a YJ hood, a 40-inch tire, a 37-inch tire, 3 pieces of 2x4 x 8 pine, 3 pieces of 2x2x8 pine, two pieces of 2x4x1/2 plywood, a 5-gallon bucket, etc etc etc...) I'd just use some of the longer shocks I've got laying around and go through the floor... but I need every inch of floor space I have back there.

I have a couple of used rancho 9000 adjustable shocks you can have. They are for 3.5" lift, eye to eye. They came off the rear. They are still in fair shape, a little softer than new but stiffer than stock at full stiff setting. PM me if you want them.
