Hmm I know Autozone had a few different U bolts. ranging from 2.75" width to 3.25" width and were more than long enough to do whatever you would need. They cost me 15 bucks. Good luck Tony

Tony, go pick some up at currie or deaver. You kow where they are at right? Kenneth picked up some at deaver last time he was out and they are NICE. fine thread pitch.
