I have a 35" spare in good shape but it's not a MT is an all-terrain made by general. It still has decent tread but it's not a real aggresive looking tire. I will try to dig up some pics of it in a minute.

Here's a couple pics:

Looks decent. Wonder if i can get it mounted up on Thursday when i head up to BB. You know a place up the hill that can do it? Picking up the rim for my spare today or tomorrow.

I havn't used any shops in Big Bear but I know there are a few up there. I'm sure it wouldn't be much to mount it. If you come up the 38 you could swing by my place on the way to Big Bear. If you come up the 38 before 3:00 pm then I will be at work and could meet you down the mtn. I know of a few good shops in Yucaipa you could get it mounted at.

Ill be on the road Around 3 ish i think. So ill call you and work something out. Idealy i'd like to have it mounted before Friday. Ill see.

i have a bfg i think it's a mud i'd have to check, it's almost new but has a cut on the bead. you could have a tire shop put a tube in it and it would be perfect, you just couldn't air it down.

free if you want it.

Thanks Mike but i'd prefer something a little more reliable :P

Muchas Gracias anyhow :)

I will be heading home from work around 3:30 and could meet you in Yucaipa around then. If your running late I could just drop it off at a local tire shop and then they can mount it as soon as you show up with the rim.

more reliable? it's a spare, all you have to do is not air it down :dunno:

I had that same way of thinking until I had to use my old cracked BFG spare with a patch AND plug to get me off a hammers trail. That didn't go well. tire lasted about 5 minutes before I blew it. I'm definately not saying your tire is in as bad a shape as mine, but I had to do a ghetto patch on the originally damaged tire to get me home. The way Julio wheels, he needs a spare that will give him peace of mind while he tries to exit a trail. The spare that is currently on my rig has decent tread, no cracks, no plugs and no patches. I wouldn't hesitate to use it on a trail. My extra all-terrain is basically in the same condition. i picked it up after I had the spare tire issue on the hammers. I eventually picked up a used matching spare from someone on here and no longer need the all-terrain spare.

this tire is less than 2 years old, has been in a garage the entire time, and has less than 2000 miles on it. I just can't bear to toss it out it's almost brand new. I run a tube in one of my spares, and wouldn't think twice about throwing it on to get me home. unless you aired it down and spun it on the rim ripping the valve stem off it would be no different than a normal tire. I'd rather have a newer MT with a tube in it than a worn A/T for peace of mind when trying to exit a trail since you bring it up, but to each his own ;) you don't have to sell yourself, i'm sure he'll take your tire. just saying if he want's a backup i got one. not trying to kill your sale.

No worries on the sale. I havn't been able to get ahold of him today, but if he can help me get Mikes shocks to Carol then I will give him the tire. I was originally wanting $20 for it but realized that I need help getting parts to Big Bear. I figured we could help each other out. I also didn't have all the facts on your tire. For some reason I had in my head this was an old spare. My bad. Seems he will be fine with either tire. I'm sure which ever tire he takes someone will chime in to grab the other.

Grimm, don't sweat it. haha

I know a guy racing Class 1 who runs tubes in his Baja's.....I guess Julio and Brad wheel harder.

Yeah, thats it :P

Just not too comfortable with a tube in my tire. Matter or preference is all.

Brad, I'm sorry i didn't get a hold of you yesterday, i was very busy. If you need me to get some parts for you in exchange for the tire then that works too.

Call me after 3:00 pm today and we will figure it all out.

Julio picked up the tire yesterday. I also finally found a sitter for my son so I will be up at So Cal fest tomorrow. First run since the accident. Hopefully all my repairs and new parts don't fall apart on the trail.
