Both axles are completely setup and ready to run. I rebuilt them over the winter and have only used them this season.

D44:
Waggy Low pinion driver's side drop. Brand new GM small bearing spindles, brand new Ford 5x5.5 hub/rotors, brand new Warn premium hub locks. 4.56 gearing (from Richmond) and Detroit Tru-trac l/s differential. It is already setup to bolt onto a Cherokee with a TNT truss and all control arm mounts, spring perches, and track bar mount. It also has a Crane diff cover and new calipers.

I'm asking $1,500 for the D44

Explorer 8.8:
97 Ford Explorer disc brake equipped, new rotors and calipers. 4.56 gears (from Ford Racing), PowerTrax No-Slip locker, TNT 1.5" U-bolt eliminaters, shock mounts welded into correct locations, Cran diff cover, correct yoke adapter to allow stock Cherokee u-joint, tubes welded to centersection. Also inclused MORE custom ebrake cables and SpiderTrax 5x4.5 to 5x5.5 1.5" adapter/spacers.

I'm asking $1,000 for the 8.8

These axles are fully functional and work great, plus they're ready to be bolted right up. No need for fabrication or rebuilding. All the internal seals and bearings are brand new at the time of rebuild. If you buy both axles from me at once I'll knock the price down to $2,200 for both axles together.

I'm only selling these because I rolled my Jeep and am turning it into a buggy on full width axles, I need the money to fund this tranformation.

Thanks for looking.

hypothetically, Dutch -- how much for the steering solo ? (since I DO have a D44 and some steering I could flip to Keifer that would work with his 30...):eyes:

Any pics of said steering? PM em to me if ya would please and thanks.

It looks virtually just like the one's Stang posted above, but the high-misalignment bushings I have and heims are for 5/8 bolts, which won't work on my D44, but will on a D30...

well chris, I've got a guy coming by my house tonight to look at the axle and he already said he is seriously interested in it. I'm most likely not going to seperate the steering because you have to use that steering setup with the axle since i drilled the knuckles for it.
