I am installing a new generator stand and I don't know which way the baffle goes.
It's a type 1 motor:rattle:

Just install it, it works both ways, just don't forget the oil cap

It's been a while but, I think I always installed it with the louvers facing down.....helps the oil drain a little better when you pour it in---------Hans
