You should realize that my decision not to steal, rape etc, is not based on the assumption that if I do so it will be done to me. Instead it is based on the fact that I do not want to infringe on others the same way that I do not want to be infringed upon. It makes me just as uncomfortable thinking of commiting the act as it does when I think of having the act commited to/on me.
