URE Jamboree this weekend

The Jamboree is this weekend. Due to time constraints and some other factors, Tim and I are not planning on setting up a booth this weekend. I plan to ride most of the day. The earlier we hit the trails the better, but I understand travel times. We usually try and get on the trails by 10 unless Andy is coming, then there is no telling how long we wait. I will be in the DD YJ so I'm not really crazy about Daniel, but I would like to run almost if not all of the rest of the trails to get some ideas for the off season work days. I figure an afternoon break is in order for lunch and to check out the Jamboree and maybe the Mountain Festival.

I can't make it to this one, I was down there on Monday though, it's rough. I normally can walk up the Dickey Bell hill climb (except the left line at the top) with no issue. But this time it took about 30-45 minutes for me to get up it, and I tried the hard line up top (probably not smart being open/open on 31's), which didn't help out my time any.

As for Daniel, I got up the first ledge, the two guys that were with me bitched out though, and went up the back to meet me at the top. So it was me and my spotter. I couldn't get up the second ledge without rolling or breaking something it felt like, and I had nobody to winch me up, so I came back down, which was sketchy as hell.

In other words, hate I can't make it, but since Glenn has a winch, do Daniel haha

One of the times we were up there a TJ blew out the radiator and had to go back down daniel with no power. That was interesting to watch.

Watch hell, I helped him get off the mountain and then towed him back to the outpost. Was not a good day for that guy.

I doubt I will make this one. Maybe later in the year we can get a ride going. November or December...

Well my boss scheduled me to work this weekend and with no one going I think I am going to oblige and use this weekend as leverage to make sure I have off for the flog.

I will not know for sure till I can check out the heep. I will not do that till after work tomorrow. so if anyone decides to go please chime in here and let me know. Nick I think that is a wise decision.
