Need to replace some on my front driveshaft. Anybody ever do them before? Found a few writeups but wouldn't mine some help.

U-joints are fairly easy. A socket under it so that the joint cap has some place to travel. Use a BFH and a socket to hammer the other side to drive the joint thru. Remove the cap after it's been driven thru. Flip and repeat.

You need chiapower. Judging from post-ROM2009 sigs, you can guess where half of that word comes from. He helped me do mine in his driveway.

i know i had to drive to the other side of henrietta saturday to replace one...and i replaced it with a spicer i mean come on one of my stock front shafts has a STOCK dana/spicer joint still in it

If you replaced a Tom Wood ujoint, you need to call them and they will take care of it. (BTW, they only make drive shaft ujoints)

You've personally tested EVERY u-joint available? Please provide FACTUAL data to support this contention.

Spicer for everday use. (axleshaft) Longfield or CTM for serious trail abuse.
