Turkey Bay 10th and 11th,April

Whoever is in charge of this deal...give us the when and where for meeting Saturday morning.

I may still come up and camp Friday night...depending on when it's planned to hit the trails in the morning...I can be out the door by 6:30 and at the trail head by 9...or earlier if need be.

So, unless the clunk coming from the front of my truck is something serious, I will be there...

only thing i can come up with so far and we can change this if need be.
what if we meet up(all of us from nash and surrounding) at exit 35 431/65. there is a mikki d's there we could meet at and go up to clarksville from there.
the only way i know to get up there is to go up to 68/80 by cadiz and go to the trace from there.
Kris any of yall up there have a better way we could go?
Meet at mikki d's on exit 35 at 8am. then from there we will go up to cadiz or meet up with kgp and them.

You could go through Cadiz, but could take 76/79 through Clarksville to Dover then up to the Trace. Depends on how far North TB is in LBL.
 
ya i seen that way too. i was hoping that maybe kgp or one of them up there in clarksville cold lead us in if all of us met them up there somewhere. is exit 35 good for everyone to meet at?

yeah thats the best way, TB is like 1/2 way up the island or 20-30 miles from dover

Im all for missing the interstate. Bigalpha is there somewhere we all from down here could meet up with you guys around clarksville?
 
hey was anyone else planning on camping out up there? My buddy Ed has rented a cottage across the lake and we are gonna stay up there over night and ride sunday too. My son wants to pitch the tent and stay at the camp grounds. So i was curious if anyone else want to pitch a tent. guess we are coming up through cadiz to get to the trace..... cottontail is yur jeep up for a little bit of interstate.? Bigalpha, Kris yall wanna meet somewhere before we ride?????
 
Yeah...I'll do a little interstate...not interested in pushing it over about 70 mph though!
 
Hey guys it was good to meet some of you today at the M&G, I might be interested to meeting up with you guys for this. I'm just off of Exit 1 in Clarksville, let me know where the Clarksville guys are getting picked up in the convoy and I'll try to be there!
 
Depending on which way the group goes, I might want to meet at TB instead of convoying.

Best place for the c'ville guys to meet is at Dover Crossing.

Keep me posted over the next week, I'm not 100% sure I can make it yet, but I'd like to go up there and check it out. Plus it'd be the first time offroad since I got the new lift put on.
 
Would that be cool with everyone? All of us from down south of clarksville will meet at exit 35 at 8 am ,, then we can meet you at exit one if ya want Driver. My buddy wants to go the way he knows cause we are easily lost. So we are going on up to cadiz and come down, so we will meet the clarksville guys there at TB.
Yea my jeep done mine the interstate but it dont like it much over 65 either so we are good there.
Is that cool with everyone??

P.S... Sorry I missed the meet today, kinda messed up my lower back yesterday trying to be a hero and work on the jeep by myself.
 
You guys don't have to pick me up, if I am able to make it I'll probably hook up with BA and follow him up there and we can all just meet at TB.

I was shocked my XJ was able to cruise at 80 today with no problems. It put a BIG smile on my face, lol.
 
my speedo is off a bit but the GPS said i hit a number 13 higher than yours on the ride back, lol
