I've always thought about that, why not just have a big electric motor that doesn't rob your engine of power just to make more. But like said above, the motor would be too heavy, too big, and take a lot more electrical juice than your alternator could provide.

Wait a sec.... think about what you just said.

How are you going to power that electric motor? Electricity doesn't just come out of thin air. Battery? Don't forget that you have to recharge it. Alternor or generator? Funny, when there's any load that it's driving, it takes force to turn it. In short, there ain't no such thing as a free lunch.

Back to the fleaBay device... the object is to get more oxygen into the cylinder, so you can burn more fuel per stroke. How much pressure do you think that tiny little squirrel cage fan will generate? Not very much, and I'd wonder how much restriction it has at high flow rates.

Or we could have a HUGE Alternator hooked up to an even more powerful motor thats then hooked up to a huge induction fan.

OR we could hook the engine up to a induction fan/device and call it a supercharger. There by bypassing all these shenanigans and actually make more power.:moon:
