tube-bed MJ, tail-light wiring...?

If you disconnect everything, do the front signals work like they should?

I suspect if you attempt to check the fronts with the backs disconnected the fronts wont work cause the resistance wouldn't be correct and the system will think the rear bulbs are burnt out.

When I chopped mine, I had the same problem with the taillights. You have to use the trailer light converter (generic is fine) to switch from two bulbs to a single bulb per side......plus the back up lights.

You're right, of course they wouldn't, my mistake. Complete brain-fart...

But that doesn't convince me that it's not a resistance problem overall.

I still think the two bulbs per line are putting up too much resistance compared to the stock single bulb. But rereading the description of the lights, I guess there's no easy way to use just one bulb per wire. You'd have to open the housing and put in a jumper around the second bulb, from the first bulb to ground.

Unless you can solder it yourself, and are really really cheap, it probably wouldn't be worth it.

Sorry, no help here...
