TSF Hangover Run 2013

so after $500 bucks my front arb is rebuilt and installed with a new ring & pinion and bearings. Me and the wife will be meeting josh at 7:00 to head out . I'm going to take it easy and hopefully not break anything, "knock on wood". Just have to put in new plugs ,wires, cap , rotor and pack up . See you all there for a great time .

My XJ is in my garage. Not really running it like previous years. The plan is to rebuild the 4.0 and add some more stuff like rear bumper tire carrier. Perhaps new gears. :D

dont jump the gun josh, still another day to burn:compwork:

Bronze
Yea I know.....My days got a little mixed up, but I was just callin out plans...seeing if anyone else wanted to meet up/caravan out.

Because I know what the snow is like up there and my pizza cutters won't cut it.
You did great on the Xmas Tree Run!
.....you should be fine Ryan, C'mon!

So can we get both a roll call & snow report?
So it sounds like YOUR in Kenny...
There's also:
BHMike - confirmed
Bmikes - confirmed
AwesomeXJ - confirmed
Bronzewyrm - confirmed
Ceb0217 - confirmed (i think)
Demonoid - unconfirmed
Crazymoose1990 - partially confirmed (may meet us up there)
NWZJ Scott - looking for a ride
Nightfoam - looking for a ride(?)

Weather report as of right now (12/31 - 1:26pm)
calls for sunny skies, high of 46 low of 34
(supposed to get a little rain up there today - but right now its snowing in Gresham)

I will be up there with one other XJ not very build. One built Toyota, and Jarrod with his Nissan pickup, locked front and rear, and my mildly built XJ. I will be at Rodgers at 8:30 or 9:00 am

Hey kenny, do you know if the trails you guys are taking going to kill my little sorta stock jeep? Plus I won't learn till tonight or after New Years if I'm going so its still a unconfirmed

I dont know what the plan is so i am unsure of the trails condition. I am just going to be there.

There will probably be some rigs that are less built, I know one Cherokee going with us isn't that built. I also last heard that we were going to run Cedar, and maybe Fire break 5.

Powerline is usually run-able, (university firepower - MAYbe) ..... cedartree and parts of Archers are generally doable.
...FB5 can get pretty gnarly, even unpassable depending on how deep the snow is.
I don't know what the current snowfall is up there, but depending on how much and how wet/dry the snow is, we should be able to at least play on some of the more mild trails.
(hopefully)

Word I got was fb5 is undoable even in fully built truggies. The safe bet would be powerline to archers.

:thumbup:Thats my "Plan-A"....I think we should be able to do that even with stockers with us....
...we'll see what it's like when we get up there and what sort of vehicles are in our group. Should be fun no matter what....
CANT WAIT!!!
(Jeep's packed, loaded, fueled up and ready to go!)

15-20 inches of snow at Rogers is what I heard. And from what I saw yesterday, it's dry and icy under a crust that isn't quite thick enough to stand on.
