OK, looks good, now please tell me that you also called Currie and got them to send you the inner-"C" gussets? By building the truss, you've just focused the load onto the "C's", and we know those like to get bendy when there is air underneath them.
CRASH
P.S. I thought you were getting Fox's not the 7100's? Changed your mind again, eh?
Thats what I needed last week damn it!!
But since I plan on rebuilding my upper shock mounts anyway....you say these mounts are from a circle track type shop?
Do you know who makes them?

The bottom of the inner C's have nice gussets.....added when one broke off. I thought about also adding gussets to the top of the C's on this go round, over to the coil perches, but didn't end up doing it. I wanted to get the front end in and the shocks bolted up to make sure it all fit right. I may go back and add the upper C gussets later, since now I know I have room for them. If I do that, the top would be trussed from C to (shining) C.
The Fox's were a new product, valved specifically for lifted TJ's and using bushings and even a stem mount for the fronts, but they never came in. I didn't want to have a time problem getting them before Mexico, and you guys like your 7100's, and the 7100's were in stock so I just got them.
Nope, I'm gonna stick with this housing & just weldup / redrill the third member studs. I'll have my long side axles cut down / resplined & I'll end up having to buy longer shortside inner shafts. I pulled it all apart & promtly set it all down in a corner as I realized that this swap aint gonna get done before BOTW. The Hi9 sure is pretty painted all CAT yellow though...
Time to order a boatload of tabs...
I just hate spending all the time it takes to make tabs and brackets!
Hey, I live in the desert.....and inventory is the holy grail of fabrication.

there is only so much you can do with a portaband saw a 4.5" grinder and a welder. granted i do have an awsome metal supply but i am fresh out of D60's D44's and 9" axle housings to hack on, but i might have a stash of totaly customized shafts, let me look
nope, used the last one as a stake to tie the dog in the back yard:confused1
some times you actually need money for stuff ( or just plane dumb a$$ luck ) and i aint got any:sad1:
