Transmission fluid in coolant?

I went ahead and just bypassed it....

I noticed my cardone reman water pump that I installed this weekend is already leaking from the weep hole.. :-(

Hey it was only $21.... and lifetime warranty...

a "new" one is $36... the only thing they reuse a lot of the time is the water pump casing.. new shaft.. bearings and seals..

I noticed today that it's nto leaking.. so hopefully it was a fluke.. maybe cause by the high temp and pressure when I was getting the air pockets out last night.

I would rather spend the extra 15 dollars then do a water pump a second time after it fails, especially if the new one also came with a lifetime warranty.

Sure in hindsight..
But I've never had a reman part fail on me before..
