pretty sweet... hopefully ill be able to buy my tow rig while im stationed there. and then i wont have to drive it to my wheeling locations anymore..

Welcome to the SC. My kid (Kevin) is at Travis working C-17 Avionics and drives a nicely modded green '01 XJ. There's plenty of pics of his rig on my Frog Blog. If the base is as small as I hear, you'll see him around. I'm sure he'd love to chat.

I actually talked to him the other day, he was telling me about your jeep as well. I didn't know he was avionics.. Which shred? I'm com/nav on the C17. 860th AMXS.

Please, some one inform me of what sierra fest is.. I've been reading tons of posts about it. And nothing on the details.

Sierra Fest is our annual Sierra Chapter run up at the Deer Valley and Slickrock trails. Every year about 30 rigs / 40 people go up to the Hermit Valley campsite and have a good time for a few days. This year it runs from Aug 9th - Aug 12th (though you can come late or leave early). These threads have pics from past years:
