Hi All,
My daughter rolled my '88 XJ I-6 Auto. I've purchased a '92 XJ I-6 Auto. They are both the Larado model.
The '88 has a 'full-time' 4x4 transfer case, but the '92 has just 4x4 Hi and Lo. It doesn't snow much in San Diego where I live. My use is nearly all sand and dirt in the local deserts. I've not used the 'full-time' feature but preferred to put my '88 in regular 4x4 hi or lo, so I guess the '92 transfer case will fill my needs.
I am considering swapping transfer cases from the wrecked '88 to the '92 Should I? Will they swap without major mounting issues?
Thanks!
