Trails in the SLO area

I was curious if anyone knew of any good, stock-rig friendly, trails in the San Luis Obispo area?

Hell yea! Pozo is fun! Go to your local Forest service station and get a map for Pozo. Great fun!

Pine Mountain, in the La Panza OHV area is nice. Past Pozo, up in the mountains.

Not many others come to mind.

I've been on Garcia Ridge Road, but is that all there is in the Pozo area?

Garcia Ridge and Las Chiches are the best trails other than the stair steps on Pine Mountain which a stock XJ cannot make. Pick up a map of the area at SLO Camp and Pack (I think that is the name, but its the store by Ben Franklins Sandwiches on Higurea) that is where I got mine back in the day. i used to go to school down in slo. when i was attending cuesta i posted the same question up on our school board. and pozo is the only thing. im from salinas prundale area and it says u are too. have u ever gone out to hollister hills?...im out there all the time. pozo is closer, but when ur home on weekends or something try hitting up hollister.
