Trail off of the 15 and Sierra

A few years ago i went off roading in the snow with a bunch of friends. Not sure what the trail is called but it was off of the 15 freeway just north of the 210 on Sierra. We stopped going because it rained real bad, it got flooded and i think that a bridge fell. I think that it was Lytle creek? Anyone know if its still open? I'll be in Fontana this weekend for Father's day and I would love to sneak away and head up there since its local.

I would be by myself and its my first time off roading this rig. Don't want to push its limits too much yet. Thanks. Just looking to kill some time while my wife helps her mom set up for a father's day bbq.

By any chance do you have coordinates or directions? i vaguely remember exiting sierra and just heading towards the mountain.

it's before mcdonalds if you're coming from the south heading north. the exit literally says cleghorn rd.

Did Cleghorn in a 2wd Ranger with my eyes closed. Take the 15 north then it gets tricky! Exit the Cleghorn exit and turn right and head about 100 yards (if that) and you are on the trail! Have fun!

Don't be deceived Cleghorn can be very difficult. The main road in 2wd sure the off shoots some yes most no. I go there often and they keep getting more rutted.

I ended up on Cleghorn on the main road. I had no idea that it would be that boring. I didn't want to do anything too extreme but the 15 had more bumps than the trail lol.

I know that there's better parts to it but seeing as it was my first time out with this rig and i was by myself I didn't want to get stuck in too hard of a trail. That and I had a father's day dinner at my in laws and the 2wd trail that i was stuck on went on for what seemed an eternity lol. I also didn't feel comforatable going too fast since there were some vehicles that were coming in the opposite direction. I encountered a Jeep Liberty hauling ass around a corner. Luckily i was going slow and heard him coming.
