TRADE or F/S: LP30 & D35 for a HP30

I need a non-vacuum disconnect HP D30 direct swap-in complete with calipers, rotors, etc. and 3.55 gearing. This would be found on an Auto XJ with a 4.0, and some TJ models would also direct-swap.

I need the swap done Saturday evening or Sunday; I live in Simi Valley, CA 93063.

I can trade my 2000's LP D30 and D35 with 3.07 gears and ABS, around 90K miles on them with the brakes just done 3 months ago (turned rotors, new pads in 30). Or you can buy both axles for $450.

i couldnt even give my vac D30 and D35 away for free...

i would say if you need it done right away, go to the local Pick-A-Part and pull one for yourself.

Tried that; none left unfortunately. I could pay someone if they brought one out to me! Or I could drop by and pick one up Thurs/Fri if anyone can get one...

What are you willing to pay for a non vac axle, or a vac axle converted ? I could prob set you up with what you are looking for. I would just need some time to hit the yards to get all the parts.

Argh.... looks like this is just too short a timeline for it to happen. I needed something for this weekend and I don't think that's going to be feasible. Thanks for the offer Leep, but I think I'm just gonna roll with an LP and 3.07's in the front for awhile (not using 4WD of course).

i ran with my HP D30 and 3.07 for a while with 33s, why is it that you need it so fast? Come down the the PAP here in ontario, im sure we'd find one. Gonna cost you $200 from the wreaker though...

I'm putting a D44 in the rear with the 3.54 gears, so I need something to match. I HATE doing the front coil removal/replacement, so I wanted to just throw it in with the lift this weekend and be done. No big deal- I'm really just torn on if I should use it as 2WD until I get a new axle or regear the LP30 (to, like, 4.56 when I redo the D44). I'm using the search function to full capacity right now trying to figure this out. Life will go on without a HP30 or matching gears I guess.

i wouldnt spend the money to regear an LPD30, just wait for the HP

I will regear later this year to 4.56 but I want the 44 in "like" yesterday.

Looks like we're doing this trade tomorrow.

D35 is the only available item now- $150 local pick up in 93063.

Too late, unfortunately. I would have jumped on that.

lamula and I swapped, so now I have an XJ D44 with 3.07 gears for the back, which match the front as well.
