Toughest Sidewalled Tire?

The number of plies doesnt take into account the thickness of them.

Are Maxxis bighorns any good?

Well I have BFG MT and I have beat the living crap out of them and never got cut, then just the other day, it looks like someone tried twice to stab my tires with a pocket knife. It cut the first layer but didn't get through the inner 2. So for what its worth, BFG's are pretty tough.

Thats funny as they are infamous for having weak sidewalls.

toyo HT is our number 1 selling HT tire. its just amazing how thick the sidewalls are. that is what this thread is about...

The F-150 is the best selling truck. They are nowhere near the best truck.

Toyo tires are not the toughest. They are not the best performing nor the best selling. They are kind of popular because they are fancy looking. They are a good tire, but not best, at all. They are popular among the big show trucks (37's on IFS front ends with chrome shocks and nuts in the back).

Nuts in the back are for trannys that tuck.

That would be the older versions of the MT. The latest version has an improved sidewall! I have run alot of BFG's and I love'em!!

Meh, it's still a radial.

TOYO OPEN COUNTRY M/T
I run these and I know there has to be tougher sidewalls out there. They hold up well but I've put a couple good slices in them in JV.
