Torque specs for Calipers

I'm changing the brakes and it says in my Hanes manual that I have to retighten the caliper bolts to the proper torque, but it does not mention what the torque is. Does any onw know??

30 ft lbs,Look in section 9-1

I think I missed that to. Can over tourqing them cause any issues? I still have a phantom noise after my brake job.
