Top rack for XJ

Anyone know of, or have a rack on their Jeep. Companies and model names would be nice. Thanks. If you have any pictures, that would be awesome as well. I'm looking for a rack for the top of my xj.. ( I have 5 6" lights to be mounted as well ) price range 200 to 500. Custom, or brand specific, it doesn't matter. Any help would be good.

Thanks

I really like Conferr roof racks. There are two jeeps at my college that both have the same one. It's not too big and has several mounting accessories.

If you want pictures of em all. You need to download the catalog from the left hand side menu. Needs Acrobat reader :-)

Good Luck!

uh,did he ask if they make anyone puke???

i have a custom roof rack made out of electrical conduit...i carry my spare up there and it's held up perfect for the year it's been used so far...it's definitely strong enough and very cheap to make...i also lined it,so it looks nice

Why do I feel like I've done this before? Oh wait...I know...b/c I have.

Lets try this again(posted to this but didn't show up) I just got a kargomaster bushman 60" rack for $299 plus $40 for the factory rail mounts. Nice rack and well constructed. Here are the pic:

Think about making your own, you can make it the way and size you want it. but I would buy a thule basket, over any out there.

Surco racks are cheap.
I have one I bought online used for $50 shipped.

That tire is a 30" tire, I think it'd probably hold up to a 35" tire up there.
I know it fits a 33" tire.

what kind of bracket did it take for the tire? oh and 50 bucks shipped WTF? :)

I also have a conferr rack and love it. I didn't like how they mounted though so I took some L channel and used my factory rack rails to reinforce and drill through. It sits 2-3" lower than they come...
