too much jeep stuff in college appartment

That's going to be pretty swap drive train setup.
Are you worried about hitting an M&M with the rear drive line pointed like that? :spin1:

Thankfully, that doesn't look familiar anymore when I enter my garage.

On a serious note, cover your glass if you want to keep it it'll end up all pit marks if you don't. Even cutting near the back can put marks in the windshield if you aren't careful.

Haha, thanks. Yeah I'm going to have a custom driveshaft that comes up and over the roof to get to that rear pinion yoke.

Yeah, it's going to be a bit of a chore staring at it like that for a while.

I already did get grinder specs on some of the glass. The only exposed glass is the rear windows and the windshield right now. The hatch has been put in my little shed thing.

I vote I wheel Travis' old axles until you're rear is done. :D
You can wheel them for longer if you give me a lot of $ to make them your own :D

The pic Colin posted pretty much says it all. I'll be taking some pics with my dslr tonight to show better detail...

upload them with something like tremek.com so I can see them at work

Turns out I didn't have time to take any pictures. I cleaned the garage up then lengthened my welding cart and dealt with some other stuff. I should have time to finish it tomorrow, paint it, then take pictures.

hahaha, Mine hasn't been anywhere near that cluttered. But I do have my floor on the floor :D

its all better now

(ok im done whorin your thread with my pointles pics, carry on now)

I finished and painted the welding cart tonight. The bottle is held vertical by a 231 chain. :D

I cut some more body out. There's nothing behind the rear doors other than the unibody rails just past the bumpstops now. The entire shock crossmember is gone, too. I think I'm done cutting forward, but I still have to cut some more out of the driver's side rocker/bottoms of the doors.

I busted out the good camera to take some pics. Sit tight and you might get lucky.

for being such a photographer you really SUCK at posting pictures in your own thread.

I'll snap another one when the paint is dry and the welder is in it...

Have fun drilling/grinding out all the spot welds for the floor on top of the frame rails... god that sucked.

You're funny... You think I'm going to waste time with that? I'm going to blow them out with the torch and whack the floor off.

I wanted to preserve the floor spot-weld flanges as much as possible to simplify welding the new ones in and retain more strength, but I guess that would work.

Let's try to keep the typical NAC-type BS about my build in this thread and the thread in Advanced Fabrication for actual tech. If you spam that thread I'll just have the mods move it here, so don't waste your time. :D Kthnxloveyabye.

ima spam the shit out of your dumb "tech" thread, then make a thread in the moderator's
forum saying to ignore all requests coming from your sorry NAC-dwelling ass :D
