Tonight....WE WRENCH!!!!

blah! first I get sick, now this rain has been jacking with me! I was planning on having a BB put on the new jeep last weekend and having the fenders cut and the rockers sprayed with bedliner... Im got about 45% done with everything... AKA the old flares are off, half and one side is cut/rolled/coated... now im feeling much better, but forced to sit on my thumbs after work wishing that my angle grinder, eyeglasses, and spray products worked well with precipitation... Oh well! Im sure Ill update my pics in the chapter rigs by monday...

Got the BB/new(to me) stock springs on it today! still havnt finished the bedliner on the rockers though...

Jeep looks higher in the front but i think its just an illusion in the pic... it sits fine when you see it in person... Pics with tires should be up later this week!

Previous owner told me it was sagging because he had hauled concrete bags in the back one time. One leaf pack looked kinda like spagetti noodles, the other one had chunks of it fall out when i took off the U-bolts... HOLY UNSAFE JEEP BATMAN!!!

Wrenched on lukes jeep this afternoon! Got his new steering all put together. Some good lookin steering that's for sure! Course I did most of the work...

Well one of the tre's threads were messed up by the hole for the cotter pin. Called troy to see what he would do in that situation. And did what he suggested and it worked like a charm. The hardest part was trying to get luke to get to work... kept asking me if he was doing it right

Yeah! I wouldn't doubt it... very nice setup! Pretty easy to install other then the threads. But took a vicegrip and just threaded the nut on and off and it was fine. Couldn't find your number otherwise I woulda called ya!

Think it was just some metal shavings on the threads.

Yeah, sounded like the castle nut wasn't meshing with the threads past the cotter pin hole. I had him clamp down on the shaft of the TRE joint so they could work the threads into submission. The shaft was spinning in the steering arm until they got the threads cleaned up.

Nice! Have fun up there! Def. One of my favorite trails, although I havnt been in 5-6 years!

Although not really wrenching, I got the tires on her tonight. Sorry about the blurry camera phone pic... Now cosmetics(finishing the lower doors/rockers/fenders) is my main concern for the week!

Is that the gas station off of wads and missisippi? Jeep is lookin good! Mine is getting washed this weekend for the first wash after waxing.... then gotta figure out what's making noise up front... sounds like loose bolts and noisy coils...

Nope, that was just south of Loveland on 287... I do know what station your talking about though and they look very similar! I picked up the tires up in Loveland this evening and had them put on before coming back down to littleton. Thanks for the compliments!

Last night I showed my bud the D-44 tire carriers that Frank and Chris built. Today we hit the junkyard and scored his parts-n-parts.

I hear the donkeys won? :D

yessir!! 26, 20, with the last 10 points for the Broncos coming inside the last 2 minutes! WOOT!
