I found a set of 35 inch tires local for dirt cheap..the only drawback is they are 18 inch rim size.. does anyone of you know a place with cheaper rims that have the xj bolt pattern/ something adaptable easily? I been looking and cant find much. Just wondering if the deal is good or if im gonna get killed on the rim price?

tires 35x12.5x18

The current Charger/Magnum/300 platform (LX, I believe) has the same pattern/offset, and had several 18" wheels available. The Mustang platform (after Fox, not the current- don't know the designation) also works, and of course any aftermarket wheels fitting these. I just sold them, but I picked up some RT wheels off a Magnum for $200- I couldn't buy 15" jeep wheels for that locally.

I've seen folks use JK wheels with adapters, but they're typically quite expensive around here, and the adapters aren't free either.

edit- Doh, didn't even think about the width. That's probably a killer for most stock wheel sets.

I'd be watching CL for aftermarket wheels with the prerequisite CL damage.

take the tires over to discount tire, they have some of the cheapest stuff and will be able to let you know what wheels will work for that tire.
