Time to upgrade

I am starting to order stuff for the XJ and hope to have it ready for a Memorial Day run.

Also going to trim the fenders and put new u-joints in the front drive shaft (only u-joints I haven't replaced yet)

I hope that you have better luck getting your Rugged Ridge steering then a lot of other have had. They have had to contend to some major back orders.

Where are you running on Memorial Day? MIOBI??

Going to run at least one day of the MIOBI run, trying to talk the GF into camping for Sat/Sunday.

I saw the RR steering is back ordered and I am only looking at upgrading cause I want too so it can wait for now. The adj. track bar and extended brake lines are the things I need to get done.

I am going to be at MIOBI on Saturday for sure, and possibly Sunday. I know that the RR steering is not too expensive, but have you considered the JCR 1-ton set up? I bent my drag link at MIOBI earlier this year and upgraded to the JCR set up. It is beefy and holds up to everything I have thrown at it so far. I even have the Snap-on reamer to ream out the pitman arm and knuckles if you need to borrow it. As far as track bars, I am in the market for an upgrade myself. I posted the trackbar poll on the home page and modified tech forum to get some opinions and input.

I think a few guys from the DSM area are gonna wheel MIOBI on Saturday. Last I knew that Dustin and Collin are coming down and bringing a few others with them.

yeah I will be there all weekend long

I will be at MIOBI on Saturday for sure and may just camp myself if GF doesn't want to come. I saw that others on here will be there so we should all get together on Saturday sometime. I need to get my sticker on (free HP!).

I have a budgeted amount of $200 for steering so I will either wait for the RR kit to come into stock, look for another option in that range or save up for a more expensive setup.
