x2 on the price, but it looks like crap like this belongs two places: 1) harbor freight, 2) being reviewed by youtube automotive celebrities.
Yeah, that works, but the chance of screwing it up is a lot higher......and you can take away metal unnecessarily that way.
Taps & dies are for making the threads.......thread chasers are for cleaning them up. They have a slightly smaller diameter and are not as aggressive so they won't cut into undamaged threads, but will remove rust & other stuff.
The thread wizard looks neat but kind of gimmicky. All I ever use are thread chasers and a wire brush or wheel. Every mechanic I've ever known has a bench grinder with a wire wheel...
As far as I know that Snap On T&D set is made for Snap On by Hansen/Irwin. Amazon sells for about $250 with the drill bits...
