Let me ask a question about your 'mountains'.. can you do winter sports in 'em? Ski, board, etc. Cause if not, they're not really mountains.
In all honesty, Texas is one of the few places I would consider living. I would fit right in with the 'radical' right wingers.

Wow "mountain" ranges that are from 5000 to 7500 feet. No wonder flores was pissing his pants when we went up to Jenny Creek.:laugh2:
He did that when he hit the main trail at BMRA. And thats nothing more than a dirt road on top of a strip mined mountain.

Why yes, people DO ski abd snowboard on those mountians. Like I said, the mountians in Texas are MUCH older than the ones in CO. That also means they are smaller due to the elements and other factors like that.
I was always told that if God wanted Texans to snow ski, he would have made Bullchit white.

Take him to Ouray and do "The Bear".Ha I remember that. The whole drive up the pass he was just on the CB complaing about dropping off, or falling off, and we werent even that close to the edge
