thinking about going to 35

My 98 has a 4.5 lift and is otherwise stock. Fenders are trimmed. I have extended shackles and some coil spacers that I'm considering installing. The only thing is that I don't have the time/money to do the sye. opinions anyone? Maybe I'll just throw the tires on and see what I need. Will stock upper control arms be long enough for the rusty's 4.5 springs and a 2.5 coil spacer?

Im running 35s on a 4.5 inch lift. well the front is probably sitting at 4" with the winch. My front rubs. But just make sure you bumpstop well and you dont have to go any higher unless you want to.

as far as getting uppers i would definately do it. mine are too short and I can feel it.

so go with bumpstops and go from there. it may not be the greatest, but do that and figure it out form there.

im sittin at about 5.5" (6"lift) in front i have stock front uppers not the best but havent got around to makein them. its on my todo list. i have ran them on a 3" lift for years and on the 6" for about a year. i kno plenty of people that run with out a sye too just do a tc drop.

Oh I have that planned however it will happen much later. I don't drive more than a mile to work and around town a little bit. Its getting flat towed any long distances to wheeling spots so. I'll be okay with the stock gears for the moment

I trimmed my front fenders to just a little above where the flares were. On the rear, it is notched and folded. 3" bumpstops in the front, and DPG offroad adjustable bumpstops in the rear (with all plates installed) My rear springs compress until they are completly flat. No negative arch. My front compresses my shocks completly. The shocks and bumpstops touch at the same time on the front and rear.

4" of lift front and rear.

This is when I had 35s.

Flores, are you trying to call me out? I try to keep it pretty but she aint a mall crawler! Guess I'll have to post a pic later... As for the axles its a 8.25

Well, Its a go. Getting the 35s. This is going to be interesting getting it trimmed up in time for some wheeling in Gilmer!

Those are the 33s that are on there at the moment. They are still good for a bit. I'm probly going to sell the tires. 305/75R16s (33s on a 16 inch rim)
