Theres a dana 44 in the pick n pull yard

Hey guys, I was up at the pick n pull in wadsworth il, and I found a dana 44 in an white 87 cherokee up there. Not sure about the gearing but I asked the clerk about the cost and he said about 190 dollars soo its well worth it! If I had the money and place to put it I would get it. So someone go get it before they crush the jeep.

ALL the pick-n-pulls around Chicago are open 24/7 except for the major holidays of Christmas, 4th-July, NewYears.

So I'm sure you will be able to get in......not so sure if you can get it out unless you have the Yard torch it out, or you bring in alot of PB blaster or your own Sawsall or torch. I'm sure its pretty rusted.

Be careful, most yards around Chicagho dont let you carry in that particular splendid piece of equipment. Try and sneak it in if you have to.

Yeah I pretty sure you aren't suppose to bring in anything power related or anything that can cause a spark or something like that. And they do check your tool boxes. It was pretty rusty but Idk I've gotten rusty axles out before with a big breaker bar and a BFH. Just took a while haha. I also think you can have them cut out for you, if you pay alittle bit more, not for sure though.

all the pick n pulls I've been too were cool with a sawzall, just not torches.

Cut the u bolts and take the driveshaft attached and you're golden.

I have gotten about 6 XJ dana 44s out of northern Cali bone yards but yeah here with the rust you need all the help you can get!
