Theft attempt

I think someone might have tried to steal the XJ over the weekend. All they ended up doing was breaking the vent window on the pass side. They didn't even unlock the door. If they had the Jeep would have honked at me when I unlocked it with the remote. I'm not sure if they changed thier mind when they noticed no stereo in it or, more likely, the stopped when the neighbor looked out their window when they heard the noise of the window breaking. Either way, I still have it and only need to replace the vent window, not the whole Jeep. :yelclap: A neighbor, a block over, had thier car stolen, probably the same night.

A quick update on this. I found out that the vehicle stolen was a friend's '93 XJ that is a block over from me. It was actually his wife's dd for about the last 5 years. After a week there still has been no word that the cops have located it. I guess that means it's in parts by now, or in Mexico.
