... You took the zombie samurai thing serious and not as a joke and we need to lighten up ; p .

Also, there are levels of zombies and certainly some will manage the use of weapons or if you want to stick with the classic drone style zombie it's still possible. If a samurai is turned to a zombie while holding his sword he won't just drop it, so you still have zombies with ninja swords cruising around.

Just a quick aside: Is it a bad sign for the show that we don't care enough about the characters to remember their names? I can remember the names of the character from "Archer", a cartoon that I don't even watch that much.

Anyway, they made a big deal of telling us they have condoms. On the other hand, in the graphic novel, she did get pregnant. Anyway, the whole "helplessly pregnant with zombies running around" role is already being adequately filled by Lori(also doubling nicely as "wicked shrew") so we probably don't have to worry about another pregnancy until she buys it.

The show is trying hard not to suck. I cant believe they have been on the farm for this long. That other group they met in Atlanta that was holed up in the compound had the right idea, barricade yourself in a defensible position. Sheeezzus they just lost Dale because a zombie WALKED IN CAMP AND TRIED TO EAT HIM. BUILD A FREAKING FENCE!

And yeah Dale is dead, the voice for acting like civilization still matters is gone. The group has given up hope and hopefully they are going to start going into survival mode soon. Hopefully. Stockpile weapons and goods, find 50 lb sacks of beans and rice, a water tower, and secure your position.

The hillbilly is the only one I have any respect for at all. I bet he's the most popular character on the show. I bet the producers are surprised as hell. You could tell early they didn't want him, giving him lines that made him like a retard redneck asshole. Now they are pushing him in the camera and giving him good lines. That was their last good idea I suspect

I wonder what the significance of showing Carl take Darryl's gun out of the saddle bag on his bike was? And then they made a point to show Carl drop the gun and lose it in the woods. Does that mean Darryl is next to go? They also made it a point to show how far away from the farm house and by himself Darryl stays. That could be a blatant foreshadowing that Darryl gets attacked...out there all by himself, reaches in his saddlebag for his gun because his crossbow isn't close enough, just to find his gun missing...and he gets eaten. OR....Darryl escapes the attack and somehow finds out it was Carl that took the gun and almost got him killed, and hits Carl...which throws Rick off the deep end yadda yadda yadda...

Lmao it was meant to be a joke, glad someone took it that way. Lol I have the same problem with the characters, i think they might have used the least memorable names possible for the characters in this show.

They'd be stupid to get rid of darryl, as was mentioned, he's one of about 4 characters i dont want to see eaten. As far as forshadowing, they could have shown all that to emphasize how much of a little bitch carl is, he HAD A GUN, he SHOULDVE executed it from a safe distance (horror movie syndrome). I wanted him to execute it, and use that ego boost to help become a man instead of a bitch like mommy... apparently the writers chose to develope the bitch roles more....

I disagree with all the talk about Carl being a bitch. Again, he's a little kid...I knew he wouldn't be able to kill the zombie, he's just being a curious kid. I for one don't want to see him become some rough and tumble army kid that sleeps with shotgun shells at night. I want to see how a normal kid reacts.

I don't read any kind of foreshadowing into Karl and the gun, other than it may make Daryl leave the group more. Its possible though, the fish is on the hook maybe they'll use it. My guess is they wanted to make a couple of points, one was to demonstrate his dad's lecture that when you make mistakes people die. Also the writers wanted to show that he wasn't able to kill a zombie himself yet, he wanted his dad to show him how to kill something. It is kind of unexplained how he got out by Darryl's little corner and then went down to the creek by himself for so long, nobody would let him get out of sight for a full day like that.
