Damn its been a long time since I've updated this thing. Almost forgot about it. So many new changes and trips.

Engine finally wore out enough that its time for a fresh build. It was consuming 5 quarts of oil in about 1,000 miles, with no visible oil leaks. Just got a crank and rods last week to make a 4.7 stroker. Spend this week polishing the bearing journals and work hardening the rods.

Painted and installed the non cad.

Went to the Low-Budget off road even in Hollister Hills with Matt.

Put this fancy stuff on

Went to the rubicon... fun was had by all

Broke the center pin in the leaf spring.

Then I went full bro

Rubicon for Kevin's Birthday. The trip of breakage for all.
Kevin-U-joint #1. broke more but I don't have pictures.

Jake- Tire. Used almost every possible plug he could find.

I broke my Tcase, 2 ujoints, and yoke.

Sure was pretty though.

What toasted my rear driveline... farthest I made it up. Failed attempt at Potato soup

Went to Cantina For the Con. What a blast that was.

Put a locker in my rear.

This happened, what a blast.

Went and played on the rocks in Reno.

Moment of silence for the silverback...such an awesome rig. It will be missed.

Yep, stroker time.

Using a 258 crank and rods, fully balanced. Got them for a steal.
.040 over Pistons
Comp cams 68-232-4 cam with .460/.476 lift and 250/256 duration with 113 cam lobe separation.
Port/polished head and intake
Bore the throttle body
Wide band O2 with adjustable map and fuel pressure.

Worked on the stroker build tonight. Decided to recondition the rods. Also did some mathing to figure bore size and housing bore size. Finally have the new pistons and rotating assembly bearings on the way.

Rod bearings showed up today.

Pistons and main bearings will be here middle of next week.
