Cool it, Hotrod! Ecks doesn't need anyone to defend him, but I'm pretty sure he was talking about people that talk tough on the net but wouldn't do any of the stuff their talking about, ie:"It seems unreasonable to me to suggest such things when you wouldn't carry them out yourselves. The internet if full of cheap talkers and people who find it extremely simple to type out their carnal fantasies". Not to mention that if you know anything bout him, he knows what he's talking about with all this. I personally like the idea of lying in wait for the guy and doin something bout it, but I'm not sure necessarily what, if anything, would come of it.

PS, Rich, I feel for you on this, if it were me in this situation, I would definitely be pissed. Hope you're able to catch whoever it is and they get charged with attempted manslaughter at least, along with criminal trespassing, criminal mischief and whatever other laws may apply.

maybe his little prank should be successful, If he actually causes a wreck with his mischief then it will go a lot worse for him. The attempted manslaughter would actually stick and wouldn't be downgraded to criminal mischief. (the most likely event with the inevitable plea deal)

The way I see it...calling someone a coward and a goofball on the internet is the same as what you're complaining about. You don't KNOW if these people would actually do what they said, do you? It would suck for you to assume someone is all mouth, and then be shown otherwise. Never assume when your butt is on the line. Now, I do not have an issue with ECKS, it just pisses me off to be called a coward and a goofball, and be told that I am just running my mouth and wouldn't DO anything about an intruder or someone messing with my vehicles when I KNOW what I would do! Jail shmail! I don't have a problem going there for defending(the safety of) my family and property. As far as the punishment fitting the crime... that is what is wrong with this country's judicial system, people crying about "Oh, that's too harsh!"and they get a slap on the wrist! That is why this person is loosening those lugnuts, he KNOWS that NOTHING is gonna happen to him IF he gets caught by the law! Now IF it was KNOWN that if you get caught on someone's property up to no good, you could be LEGALLY shot in the head, I GUARANTEE that kind of mischief would drop 99%! If I was the perp, I would be more worried about what would physically be done to me(beaten or killed) than worry about being video taped then prosecuted! You can live in jail but not with 2 shells of 00 buck in you!
