This is kind of a continuance of a post in the IC forum that Dirk Pitt started. Although this isn't the only way for us Wasatch Front (UT) wheelers to get to Moab, it's certainly the shortest. This is what happened when a truck carrying 35,500 pounds of explosives overturned and exploded on HWY 6 in Spanish Fork Canyon. This happened on the 10th of this month. The railroad tracks in these pictures are the ones that I run on for work. We were down for only a day as the UP got their mainline opened back up within a matter of hours.
