THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

I would have responded sooner but my fingers are too fat to use a keyboard. Took me three hours to write this by holding a pencil and pressing one key at a time. Hopefully I get to read your next lame comeback before I die from a cardiac arrest. You never were too quick witted though.

Sorry Carl, things got out of hand back there.

Is Dave going?

Probably not.

no clue think his fat fingers are too fat to type

Probably true.

Superduty are similar. Have you thought about getting a Chevy or dodge 60 and running a d300?

I have but I'd rather stay high pinion, use the axle I already have, and not be annoyed at myself every time I look at its front axle because I had to buy it twice

(I had a dodge kingpin 60 a few years ago and cut it up for a retarded thing I never built, then gave half of it to ross who also never built anything with it)

I traded the cover for a 12pk, stole the crosspin/spiders for myself, scraped the rest :)

Likely none of it. Probably a pair of super duty 60's, linked front, keeping leaf rear but I'll have to mess with the height a bit as I'm looking to end up on 35s.

See above...not what I'm doing. Especially not the LS part.

Not for nothing, but I traded into a 94 Ford ball joint 60 from Ross a couple years ago and I just got around to getting to it. Using a newly developed truss kit from Artec and it's looking like it will shake out to be a clean and easy swap. Driver drop and high pinion, I hear the superduty axles have quite a bit more to cut away. That said, artec's included instructions are a wealth of information.

I should buy this right? Definitely a 1969-1971 though with that engine. Closed knuckle 44 front and either Dana 53 or 60-2 rear?
