THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

ordered new tires for the first time since 2012. Went with 35" Cooper STT Pros this time around. Excited to have freshy rubber

Twas hard to tear myself away from the MTZs to try something different....hopefully it works out

i didn't like the old STTs, wore too fast and spun too easy in the wet.

I hope these will improve on both counts

Also that moment when I figure out that Amazon Prime lets me stream both the new Thrice and Periphery albums, that I was hesitant about buying without hearing first. I should check there first more often.

Dude...Spotify

The new thrice album is very good.

Eh...didn't quite grab me the first time around. Had good moments but I felt like I kept waiting for something better. I'll give it another spin.

I keep meaning to get into that. I used Grooveshark really heavily until that went bust and never bothered finding a replacement for it.

A new mild wheeler?

Nah...no desire to get into that side of things really. Winter beater at best.

However my definition of 'decent shape' is a little different than the guy who offered it to me, so I think I'm passing anyway. 214k miles and a lotta bit rough around the edges, although the heated seats work. I already have a 5.9 ZJ that meets all of the above and at least I know what's wrong with it, and how to fix it.

I can't argue with that logic.

Today I restrung my telecaster and played it a bit.

And bought some 37 maxxis treps + 05+ super duty Steelies to make it so I can still fit most trailers.

Do I want a '99 WJ Limited, decent shape but moderately high mileage, for $500?
4.0 0331 non-TUPY ticking time bomb or 4.7 ticking time bomb? Either way, glad you passed on it. Cream of the crop for WJs as far as I'm concerned is a 02.5 and later 4.0L.

Cool. We played our first headlining gig two weekends ago...

...have another headlining gig coming up on the 10th, and then we're opening for Alex Skolnick (guitarist from Testament/some other jazz projects) on the 14th.

We haven't done jack shit for promotion, we just keep getting asked by other venues and artists if we can play with them. :D Kinda backwards from how I've always had to do it, but hey, I guess a reputation speaks for itself...
