THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Gonna do a wash tomorrow, but here's the new toy for now. I haven't owned a "car" since 2004, and the only time I've ever driven something non-SUV is when I travel for work and have to get a rental. I'm still surprised that this thing doesn't feel as low as it is; it's only when you have to roll the window down to talk to someone or go through a drive-thru that I realize my ass is just a few inches off the pavement.

Pretty sure I will have the 5 ton registered by the time the nogo is finished

Only owned it six years now...

If it's all in one piece, it definitely will be ready first.

That's a nope. I took the motor apart two years ago to do the head gaskets again and still haven't put the injectors, rockers, or valve covers back on.

By some miracle it's not full of water and it isn't even rusty at all. I looked at it the other day and did nothing to it.

You still might win. Meant to send you a picture of a ratty light blue Justy I saw in Brighton the other day, speaking of projects.

How's the house coming along?

Sold my jk $19500 I paid $21000 for it two years ago. I bought a 2009 six speed silverado 1500 with the tow package and weight distribution hitch. Not the best tow rig but it fit my budget and is clean and decent mileage. My zj on tons project is crawling along. Fronts under it but nothing is set and I'm not sure if I want to go and do full hydro.

Slowly but surely. One room left to gut, far as I know all but two minor areas of structural repair are done. Basically just new construction now, fireblocking, electrical, vapor barrier, insulation, rock, heating system, flooring, and trim, then it's time to strip the outside.

Oh yeah still gotta repoint the whole foundation and pour a concrete floor.

We have cleaned up the yard a lot too, it's still essentially a private junkyard but at least it's more clean.

Took the truck up to Otis yesterday. It is weird not driving stick and having a six speed auto.
