Anyone ditched their mechanical fan for an electric setup? Any recommendations? I ran a Taurus fan on my yj. Not sure how well that would cram into the xj though...

I have, got the main fan for free, have no idea what brand but suposedley pulls more cfm then stock ekec.

Ok I know this is a bit off topic but I got damage from last nights storm in Gloucester County NJ does anyone know a reliable trustworthy person to do roofing and siding?

That much damage? Darn. Hopefully you have a good homeowner's policy agent.

Everything I have read and heard when talking to the manufacturers themselves (even the folks trying to sell me product) says don't be concerned about these 'waves' they are almost meaningless until the standard is truly finalized.

We do need to expand upon our system at a few of our buildings and they'll get whatever is available in the next few weeks since we can't wait but I'm not going to start swapping over all our 802.11n APs to current 802.11ac APs for some time.

Oh and my biggest thing about the above mentioned summer project is we will finally have fiber run between closets so we can do 10gb links and stop trunking 2 Cat5 (not 5e) copper lines.

We switched over to ac last summer. Big difference, but we have a LOT of traffic and need it. We are still dumping clients during peak usage in some areas.

No point in swapping everything to ac just yet if the bulk of the clients still are n. I'll wait till everything is finialized.

There is a big difference from ac to n I agree. My phone loves this:

Nice! I'm not on the campus network so I can't blow you away with my wifi speeds since the hospital throttles to ~35mbps. The hard line is dirty though.

Our biggest issue on campus is traffic. During the school year we have something like 20k users on wifi at once.

I think my download/upload speeds at my apartment are in the single digits to low teens max.

Your hardwire speeds are a bit better than ours, we pay for a 500/500 and yield just about that. I think I have posted those before.

Not the best but I'm also downloading an ISO and my laptop is plugged in after a VOIP phone which doesn't help either. Haha.

Damn, just saw you are using comcast. Yuck. I'd be pulling close to 1gbps if I was on campus, with a lot fast ping too. My machine has to run across the street on fiber before it goes outside.

It is Comcast or nothing in this area. Nothing else and believe me they know it.
There are some smaller corps that are selling service too, but they are reselling it for Comcast.

Nicole has asked me to not confront the neighbor because I'm going on travel for 2 weeks in 2 weeks and she's afraid of retaliation. Instead, I get to deal with closing and opening the gate every night/morning.

This isn't a nice thing to say, but I can't wait till they croak or that house gets bulldozed, whichever comes first.
