THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Stove thread

lets talk weed whackers today, what you got and do you like it?

My aunt had a redmax for almost 20 years without an issue, bought a new one and it toasted the engine in under a year. My vote goes to Stihl, they're pricey but you'll only buy one if you take care of it.

Echo or Stihl. Both are good and both you can get parts for easy.
I have a straight and a curved shaft version and I find them both useful for different things. The curved is hard on my back if I was using it on flat ground but is easier going UP a banking.

i just have a battery-pack powered black and decker. Super light and plenty of power

Goat kabobs tonight?

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Stove thread

I hate curved shaft ones. Get something with at least .095 string. Even thicker if possible. I used a cheap Stihl with a curved shaft and thin string, I would have rather used a machete. Went out and bought a "real" Still not a condo version Stihl. Landscapers around hear seem to have redmax, Stihl, and echo's, very few huskys. I had a ryobi that lasted 10 years and a have all kinds of interchangeable ends for it which are nice, tiller, edger, hedge trimmer. Got a toro on triple clearance and after 2 years had to replace fuel lines in it.

That's what mine is...and it's a 4-stroke too, which is kind of neat. Doesn't rev fast but it'll chew through anything. Plus I don't have to keep mix gas around.

In other news, D.I.T.A. stopped by my house yesterday on a surprise visit.

That statement could be interpreted very poorly

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Stove thread

doesn't look like theres very many tent sites available at Twin grove

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Stove thread

There were only 9 sites left when I called 2 weeks ago.

The whole NACfest campground deal blows.

We're changing to a different one next year. Almost everything is RV or cabin now.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Stove thread
