I don't think I'm lucky enough to be impeached

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Stove thread

I lit the coal stove with wood about 5pm and started loading coal in around 6 or 630 after i was sure it was good and warm. I'll probably only run it until Saturday morning because the weekend is supposed to be so nice, but she's cruising along low and slow with a full stoke. A bit more finicky than wood but as long as I keep that in mind I can't foresee problems. I've heard it's inertia is incredible... If it's over firing and getting too hot it's only going to continue. Unfortunately the opposite holds true that if it starts to go out, there's not much that can be done.

My stove doesn't like to create a draft with the starter wood fire, but whatever, It's going to see coal 98% of the time. I opened a few windows and put the ceiling fan on. Oh, and Nicole wasn't home!

That's the kind of thing that I would allow to just drop unless it was going to blow up. Hernias and strained muscles aren't worth it. Good luck.
