THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread aka North America Home Owners Association Thread

Thats what I thought. Seems dumb, but what isn't nowadays.
It is a good idea in theory. It just seems the first go around wasn't in practice.

Yeah mine are all around 4 years old, from Siemens.

I think the larger issue is I have a light switch that sticks sometimes or has dirty contacts, as it's not a motor or appliance that causes them to kick out, it's just the act of turning on the light. Or sometimes the light will be good for a few minutes and then shut off.

Whatever it is, it's affecting multiple AFCI breakers in the panel - maybe a combination of the cold & humidity levels? Everything electrical in the house was replaced and brought to current spec in 2010.

Tent sites are part of the group. No need to reserve unless you want something else. Show up and mention us and they will get you our rate and to our area.
Can you drive your rig down?

I average about 16 mpg towing the Jeep. That last fill up probably topped me back off when we got home.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread aka North America Home Owners Association Thread

I have had zero issues (and I mean zero) with the AFCIs I've been installing in my house. Damn near every breaker I have used has been AFCI. No trips, even running heavy duty drills, saws, and angle grinders.

Typically issues people have with them are either a bad install (not Chris's problem, I'm sure), loose wire nuts and worn out outlets in the branch circuits, or dodgy equipment in use.

Sure they cost more but they are required by code these days and I build everything to or above code, usually far above code, whether I plan on having it inspected or not.

Also, this snow needs to go to hell so I can actually get stuff done and drag my remaining vehicles home and get some projects underway. I need to build a garage... after I pay off all remaining debts that is. So like, in a year or so.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread aka North America Home Owners Association Thread

Holy shit it's Ken!

My fuel pressure gauge does not like it when it's -13 out. The water line going to the gauge from the isolator must be freezing up when it gets that cold. It is a coolant mix, but I don't remember the ratio I used since I installed it 5 years ago.

Also, it's definitely getting time for injectors. As soon as the weather gets a bit warmer, I'm going to order them. Fuel economy has gone to shit the past year or so and power is noticeably lower.

Mornings like this I am glad I steal the garage space from Angel.
