Why are LS intake setups so damn expensive!?! It almost gunna be cheaper to have a stage 2 transmission built and shipped then to buy an aftermarket intake/throttle bottle/fuel rails.

Stupid unibody stiffeners. Why won't they die?

I'm coming pretty close to saying f it and just laying a bunch of welds. Gaps and all.

you made your own? took me and a friend 2 hours to do mine... takes much longer to clean the rails.

Didn't make my own. Early generation ruff stuff that don't fit well. I'm just burning them in at this point. I want to finish that today so I can paint and start putting the front end together tomorrow.

Oh, and mine go all the way up to the front bumper. Thanks Ross.

And I like whining about it.

This is how I did mine. It took 6 hours, most of that was cleaning the frame rails.

I did my rails in 30 mins tops, spongey disc from home depot ftw
