Apparently the heater is run off the fuel pump fuse+relay on 91-95. I'd check your wiring, if you find no issues replace the O2 sensor - what exact code are you getting?

yes. When you tear off the o2 sensor and the wires short it kills the fuel pump/ecu fuse.

generic chryco obd1 code 21 is no o2 sensor either rich or lean. SO I'd say the o2 sensor wiring is fubar, or the sensor itself is wasted.

that's ****ing dumb. Seems to be working just fine. It's an intermittent issue only on cold monring startups...sometimes...

found a procedure to check the heater circuit within the sensor, so i guess i'll pull out the multimeter one day and check it out

I could see a shorted o2 sensor popping the fuse.

is it factory? I replace it just because if it was 100k miles old.

There is no fuse pre-97. Not factory sensor
