THe NAC Lots-O-BFG KO2 Thread

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

There are no roads where you live?

How's the south?

Not a real good option, and its stupid hot down here, also only in the south can you have trailers with $60k trucks and vetts parked next to them

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

yea i noticed the misfire/pop issue when i was behind you on the trails. It was smoking quite a bit also, so it's def running rich.

it could be your throttle position sensor, but usually when those go bad they make the jeep pretty much undrivable (bucking, choking, etc), and the problem is right off idle not high RPM range

Sounds more like a faulty MAP sensor - it only really comes into play at higher throttle inputs. I'd replace that and see what it gets you. Also check the vac line for cracks n shit.

How new is your coil?

Somebody has to have a trash jeep in the NAC. I'm continuing the trash jeep legacy and using the door skins off the super trash jeep Harold too.
I have more than you but none of them move except the DD.

Under load it will sputter pop and misfire. Or if I'm cruising and give it full throttle it will just shut off

could be any number of sensors or actuators, is it throwing a code? (LOL OBD1)

Ross I forgot to tell you that every single person I sell parts too sells their jeep and gets out of Jeeping. So every one else.. Your welcome.

I'm gonna do the filters again and if the problem arises again I'll swap over sensors 1 by 1, and ken no codes. It ran mint all day sat till we were heading out, and Fri it wouldn't move in 1st gear low range without dying, but when I got back to the trailer it was fine.(I let it idle all the way out with Adam towing me so I'd have power steering and brakes)

Just hot a speech from my grandfather about the difference between Yankee coffee and coonass coffee, apparently Yankee coffee comes out of a horses ass, and coonass coffee is good coffee not like that crap up north

He sounds well educated.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Just to revisit the whole trailer tire thing, the radials rode way better than the bias ply and they have totally even tread wear so far. With the old bias ply tires, I could easily tell after only one trip down to PA that the tread wasn't wearing evenly. Hopefully they continue to wear evenly and that issue is resolved.

I also really need to buy a pressure washer at some point. The MJ is currently still a mess.

Re: THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Definitely bought a defective power steering pump.

There is absolutely no power steering and no whining, no foaming, and no fluid level change.I noticed when installing the pulley that there was more than usual end play as well as some up and down play in the shaft. Yup, gotta be a snapped shaft. How does this even pass their "testing"?

Thoughts on the new dirt bound stubby bumper?
