Lame. Did you say space was a concern and you had an idea for the lightbar?

I do think amber Hellas (or similar) will look better on the front of a rover though.

THe NAC Lots-O-Post Thread

Finally got my Brown Dog motor mounts in the mail today. Going do the install this weekend. Any tricks I need to know beforehand or is it as straightforward as I think it is?

Finally got my Brown Dog motor mounts in the mail today. Going do the install this weekend. Any tricks I need to know beforehand or is it as straightforward as I think it is?

Be sure to loosen the trans mount and don't over-tighten the long mount bolt that joins the block side to the frame side.

Other than that is it pretty simple.

And only do one side at a time or else its a pain to line the motor back up.

I do think amber Hellas (or similar) will look better on the front of a rover though.

I don't think the dual row would look right, and I want an amber beam. The more I look at it with the factory lights up front the more I like that style better. The rover lights suck though so I'm gonna sell em and run the Hellas

I've been seriously considering liquidating my aftermarket Jeep parts (axles, t-case, etc). I'm not quite sure why I'm holding onto them anymore. If I end up with my dad's TJ I know most can bolt in, but I like that thing stock.

why do you even bother saying things like this? I remember when I went to NacFest you were all, oh lets do blues and blacks Thursday and Friday. Then 20 minutes into Thursday we're on reds :laugh:
